Why did you want to be a trainer?
I've been around sports and fitness for most of my life. I've learned a lot along the way and want to share it to help others reach their goals.
What kind of certification do you have and from where?
I hold a personal training certification from International Sports Science.
What do you like most about being a trainer?
I like being able to motivate and help people reach their goal and do things that they never thought they could do.
What is the hardest part of being a trainer?
The hardest part is going outside of my own comfort zone and trying new training methods.
Do you specialize in a particular filed of training?
I can do everything from weight loss and strength training, to competition prep, but my favorite is sport specific; helping a person better prepare their body for a specific need.
At what age do you feel personal training is beneficial?
I've trained clients from 9 to 73. Personal training and fitness is beneficial at all ages. That being said the younger and older, the more need there is for professional guidance to avoid injury.
What is your view of supplements?
Supplements are a great boost and help to a well balanced diet and exercise program.
What can I expect from my first visit with you?
On our first meeting we will sit down and talk about your goals and any health issues you may have. Then we will do a light workout to gauge strength and conditioning. Finally we will talk about a plan to get you where you want to be.
Is there anything else I should know about you?
So far I've been a trainer, an athlete, a competitive bodybuilder, and a scuba instructor. If I can do it so can you, and I'd love to help you. Come see me for personal training and weight loss only at Nonstop Fitness in Savannah, GA.
